VLS is pleased to present the 2020 Vendor Showcase and Open House, February 11 – 13, 2020. Featuring over 20 premier manufacturers in the entertainment technology industry, guests will have the opportunity to view the latest equipment available, at a location convenient to you. In addition, we are offering a special in-depth training session at each location, ahead of the showcase hours.

  • Tuesday, February 11: Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky: 3:00 pm – 7:30 pm
  • Wednesday, February 12: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania: 3:00 pm – 7:30 pm
  • Thursday, February 13: Cleveland, Ohio: 2:00 pm – 7:30 pm

Each morning, ahead of the showcase hours, we are offering a special in-depth workshop. Seating is extremely limited for these free sessions. Click on the training title to reserve your spot.

Tuesday, February 11 in Cincinnati: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM: Avolites Training – Closed

Experience a training session on the new Avolites console software which includes: basic patching, basic playbacks, main effects engines, shape generator, keyframe shapes, and pixel mapper.  Also includes a primer for Synergy in the new V12 software. Q/A session with instructor to help new users experience the console as well as seasoned users to learn more about the Avolites platform. Session is good for beginners, novice and advanced users.

Wednesday, February 12 in Pittsburgh: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM: LEX Products – Basics in Power – Closed

Join the power experts from Lex Products for an understanding (or to refresh your knowledge) of basic electricity and AC power generation through more complex Delta and Wye systems, to an overview of power distribution units and cables used in entertainment, this course will give a solid grounding (pardon the pun) in safe electrical practice for our industry.

Thursday, February 13 in Cleveland: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM: ChamSys Training – Closed

Stepping up to a console to run a lighting system can be intimidating. This course takes the mystery out of programming with the award-winning MagicQ consoles. You’ll learn how to patch a new show, create, record and edit cues, apply effects, use tools like MagicVis and unlock loads of features lighting designers can rely on for even the most complex lighting systems.
