As school gets underway for the 2022-23 school year, so do productions in school theaters. From orchestral concerts to full-ensemble musicals, there is a lot going on in your theater! Our country, our communities, our families and (of course) Vincent Lighting are all facing unprecedented challenges with the disturbance of the COVID-19 pandemic. Although we have a bright outlook for the future, uncertainty definitely lies ahead. With events postponed and facilities closed, portions of our business are slower than we would like. We have a terrific team at Vincent Lighting, and as our rental shop is idle, we are making attempts to do maintenance on our facilities and equipment and provide training for our employees. Our goal is to robustly resume our operations, as the industry begins to reboot.
Due to concerns from COVID-19, many customers are choosing to postpone or cancel their in-person events and meetings. Vincent Lighting is working to ensure that the show must go on. Our team of lighting and event technology specialists are working to offer alternate solutions for web conferencing and video streaming lighting.
Due to concerns over the coronavirus, the 60th Anniversary of USITT’s Stage Expo and Conference planned for Houston has been cancelled. Stay tuned for details on USITT 2021 in Columbus, Ohio.

Some legacy ETC consoles will have limited software development in the near future. It’s highly recommended that these consoles be evaluated for upgrade. Vincent Lighting Systems can support customers who have existing ETC products and help determine the most cost effective upgrade path.
Vincent Lighting examined the church’s goals to create a modern look to their sanctuary stage and provide a cost-effective plan to gradually transition to LED lighting. Working closely with the church staff, VLS created a fresh look to to their stage, using energy-efficient fixtures.

Vincent Lighting Systems has opened a new location in Raleigh, North Carolina to support the needs of clients in North and South Carolina. This office is focused on the sale of both lighting and rigging products and systems. As part of the VLS commitment to this new effort, Walt Weber has been named National Sales Manager.

The Aronoff Center is a performing arts center in downtown Cincinnati comprised of three multi-purpose auditoriums. The largest venue, Procter & Gamble Hall, features a beautiful fiber optic star ceiling that was recently upgraded with LED illuminators.
