What do you like about the lighting industry?
I like how versatile it is. In any given week I’m in contact with everyone from Playhouse in the Park to Kings Island to Paycor Stadium.
Who inspires you?
My husband and my 5 daughters inspire me with their passions and their love of life! They make me strive to be the best person I can be.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to enter the lighting industry?
Get as much hands on experience as you can. If you can just sit and play with a light board, do it. Read the manual!
What’s one thing — either industry-related or not — you have learned in the last month?
“If it’s out of your hands, it deserves freedom from your mind too.”
What’s something about you (a fun fact) that not many people know?
At one point I had 3 basset hounds! I love those short, squishy dogs!
What’s the last book you read?
Audacious by Beth Moore
What is your favorite hobby?
I love to wake up early in the morning a read on my front porch swing, or inside by the fire when it’s too cold outside.
What’s the first concert you ever attended?
Probably Brittany Spears sometime in the 90s with a group of friends.
What’s the next place on your travel bucket list?
My family is going to Hocking Hills soon and hopefully Niagara Falls next summer.
If you had to eat one meal every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Does coffee count as a meal? I have it everyday for breakfast.
What’s one item you can’t live without?
A notepad. I take lots of notes!
