Dear customers, partners and friends:
Our country, our communities, our families and (of course) Vincent Lighting are all facing unprecedented challenges with the disturbance of the COVID-19 pandemic. Although we have a bright outlook for the future, uncertainty definitely lies ahead. With events postponed and facilities closed, portions of our business are slower than we would like. We have a terrific team at Vincent Lighting, and as our rental shop is idle, we are making attempts to do maintenance on our facilities and equipment and provide training for our employees. Our goal is to robustly resume our operations, as the industry begins to reboot.
All three of our offices remain open, and we continue to provide full services. We would request anyone planning to visit our offices to phone in advance as things do tend to change minute by minute. Our offices are a “handshake free zone,” and we are working with our support partners to increase our routine facilities maintenance. We have invited all VLS employees to work remotely, and (as they do) they continue to be diligently focused on each customer’s needs, even from their home-based workspaces. All telephones are being appropriately re-routed, and email communication remains the most seamless way of contacting our team.
Our sales team continues to be proactive as they serve our incredible base of customers. We are actively exploring creative solutions to help out in this challenging time. As we continue to operate at full strength, we can be a valuable resource as we look at alternative ways that our equipment can be used, especially in a humanitarian environment.
You may have seen the hashtag #SaveEvents trending on social media. The events industry has been brought to a complete halt by the COVID-19 social distancing efforts. The team at Vincent Lighting is incredibly supportive of our government’s efforts to reduce the spread of this pandemic. Please consider postponing your event rather than canceling. Your actions will help our industry reboot as the social distancing orders are lifted.
We offer you positive thoughts and prayers, from our family to yours. Vincent Lighting is here to help with any needs that you may have. Feel free to reach out to your Vincent Lighting contacts as you normally would. If you have any other questions, please contact me directly at tsiko@vls.com or (216) 475-4668 or @tcsiko on Twitter.
With warmest regards,
Tom Siko
